Century Walkathon: 100 Blocks for 100 Years!

As the library turns 100 years old on Saturday, May 31st, join the community for a 100 block walk (5 miles) at 10:00 a.m. in support of the Making Room to Read Campaign to expand the children's room at the Newberg Public Library. To take part in this event, register at the children's desk beginning May 7th through May 24th for an entry fee of $20 for families or $15 for individuals. Registrations after May 24th are $25 for families and $20 for individuals. After the walkathon, join us at the library for a free hot dog lunch with musical entertainment.

Join us on Wednesday, May 28th at 11:00 a.m. for Old Time Music with Rick Meyers. Take a step back in time as we continue to celebrate the library's centennial. There will be a preschool storytime break today.

There will be a storytime break from June 3 - 19th while the library kicks off our Summer Reading Program. Stay tuned for more details!

Check out our Events and Programs Calendar for information on our six weekly storytimes, three book clubs, movies and other programs.
